How do I clean the shower head. Does the thing with the holes in it come of? If so, how?

This will depend on the shower head you have. Shower heads etc are not shower specific.

Spraying with mould cure may help.

I'm sure the solution is to take the thing with holes in off and give it a good scrub, but how do I take it off without breaking it?

Depending on the head you have there maybe a tool that removes the front part for cleaning.
