This question is regarding Triton Dart/Amala/Mersey Concentric Valve Service Kit - 83312810

Dripping showere

A plumber looked at our shower which is leaking. Its name is Alterna Amala. The number of the service kit is the same, so why is it called Triton Amala is it the same make. It appears to be very expensive and the plumber said it was quite cheap. Any advice, Hilary Bevington

The Alterna Amala is made by Triton. This has a cartridge, www.showerdoc.com/triton-alterna-amala-concentric-mixer-shower

and the Triton Amala has a service kit, www.showerdoc.com/triton-amala-concentric-thermostatic-mixer-valve
Both look very similar til you open them up.
