Problem with Triton Antares

Hi, I believe we've got a Triton Antares dual control (the knobs don't exactly match your diagram but everything else does). Originally we had a gravity fed system with the shower boosted by a pump. Last July we had a combi boiler fitted so have been running the system at mains pressure. Ever since then the shower has been funny where it won't turn straight back on again after being used but will after 5 mins or so. However In the last week it's started turning off after a few seconds of use with a loud bang. When it happens the flow control knob jolts outwards about 1mm or so. I presume it's the flow valve that needs replacing. Have you heard of this before and, if so, can you confirm which part may be at fault please? Kind regards Simon Byrne

Yes it does sound like you need a new flow valve, but the high pressure of the new system may also be an issue from what you have described.
