Motor does not turn off

Hi There,

I turned on the shower as normal with no issues however when I turn the shower off, the water stop runnning but the motor controlled by the flow nozzle continues to run. (Motor only stops running by cutting the mains)

On further investigation I noticed that the flow button does not vary the flow anymore, but simply acts as either turning the water on or off.

Do you know the cause and solution to this problem?

Theproblem is that there is not enough water getting to the shower to keep itcool.

Thereason it keeps running is the solenoid valve is faulty and will need replaced.

Theflow valve may be starting to disintegrate internally this may be what hascaused the solenoid valve to fail (Parts of the flow valve have become lodgedin the solenoid)

Ican’t give you a link to the correct flow valve because you don’t mention whetheryour shower is manual or thermostatic.
