prv

Hello! After water started coming out the bottom of the shower, I read we needed a new prv. Having taken the front of the shower off, it looks like the diagram on your site however it looks as though the prv is part of the can...if I remove the screws will it become apparent? Secondly, the clear plastic tube that the water was coming out of has a burn half way up which has broken through the plastic completely. I have no idea how this has occurred as it's not close to any wiring. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

The prv is held in to the bottom of the can by the outlet pipe.

Check the outlet tco is not the cause of the burn.
