Temperature and pressure of shower

The shower is probably over 5 years old and after working well is now having a few problems. The water pressure is now high and the temperature difficult to control. For example the previous high temperature setting was okay but now it is far too hot. Is this a problem that can be fixed but would need spare parts?

First check that the valve coming into your house and the valve on the line to your shower are both fully open if they are OK then it is likely to be a faulty flow valve.

it may be worth phoning your water supplier and checking that they haven't had the water pressure turned down for any reason, your shower needs a minimum of 1bar to work properly.
