Faulty solenoid valve? can i just replace the coil?

I have a Triton thermostatic power shower that I bought last summer, been working fine, then tried to switch off this morning and it wouldn't with the water still running...figured it could be a faulty solenoid and after doing some research appears i'm right!! I know the unit is probably under warranty but wondered whether it's worth just replacing the coil on it's own as it looks like a simple 5 minute job?

If when you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the shower keeps running then you have a faulty solenoid valve.

When you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the water stops running, then you have a faulty on/off switch or a faulty PCB or a micro switch that is sticking on.
