Stop/Start switch

The push button would not turn off. The bakalite cover on the the spring has disintegrated. The on/off push button seems to be in a sealed housing. Can this be replaced? Or any suggestions?

The part you need is connected to the front cover , and this is now obsolete. A new shower maybe needed.
