The Triton AS2000SR

I notice that the model I currently have is no longer available that's the AS2000XT which I have had for many years. Is the SR fully compatible, namely accepts two pipes in the bottom, one hot and one cold (copper), level with each other, so when installing you simply engage these by Rpushing down onto the them?
