This question is regarding Triton AS2000XT Power Shower Spares

as2000xt buzzes but motor not working

My As2000xt buzzes when I switch it on and the motor does not run. It starting buzzing a wee while ago so I decided to change the solenoid, even though I replaced it a couple of years ago. It worked fine until the following morning after changing the solenoid it just buzzed when I switched it on and hasn't worked since. I suspect it could be the brushes and whilst I watched your videos that show how to replace the brushes there are none that show how to take out the motor. So, firstly, do you think it is the brushes or something else and secondly if it is the brushes can you point me in the direction where I might see a video to show me how to take out the motor? I have attached a photo of my as2000xt. I hope you can help - thanks

It does sound like the brushes are the problem.
You could get away with taking off the screws that hold the motor in place and pulling it slightly forward to fit the brushes.
If you cant do this you will have to remove the solenoid and the motor.

OK, thanks for that. But is there a sequence or instructions for removing the motor? For instance, if I take the screws off do I need to turn the water off as the water may spout everywhere? Only thing is I am not too sure where the water taps are as they seem to be in the wall!!

Also, do you know which brushes I am to use from the photo I attached? There seems to be 2 types on your website!
