AX2000XT stuck on high

My shower is stuck on high water flow. Turning the flow dial does nothing. Sometime turning it off and on again fixes it for a while. We're getting through an entire tank for hot water for one shower!

This could be one of two things.

You may have a faulty PCB however the more likley fault is a faulty potentiometer, this controls the amount of power going to the motor and it is part of the front cover assembly.
