This question is regarding Triton AS2000XT Thermostatic Power Shower (White/Chrome)

I Bought a Spare Triton 1000 to replace existing As1000 - which I now need to do

Is the hot water supply connected to short inlet elbow (82800140) or long (828001250) ?

This will depend whether you have the elbows looking up ordown, however the H/C connections should be stamped on the mixing valve, myrecollection is the lower connection is the hot.
