4yr old unit.Pump runs with unit switched off but power at isolator. Only stops when switched off at isolator. Solenoid on outlet 3.58k ohms. Unable to fInd solenoid on inlet side. Black dust from brush area o FCC motor, but brushes are OK.

Is this at fault or other areas to look at?

Possible PCB fault, allowing power through to the motor whenit should be switched off.

This can on occasions be a fault with the motor and pump unit, but more likely the PCB
