Noisy shower motor AS2000XTHM

Unique Contact ID: 75138534

I purchased this shower from you in June 2011 - Oder ID 639783.

It has recently become extremely noisy and seems to generated from the motor/pump area. The fault finding guide suggests that this may be due to worn pump bearings and should be replaced. The cost of replacement parts is nearly as much as that of a new shower unit so is not economical. Can you advise if I should get anything else checked before I order any replacement please? This is very disappointing as the shower is only 20 months old (with a 12 month guarantee), whereas the one it replaced lasted for 11 years. Triton must know failure rate and set guarantees accordingly

If the noise is coming from the motor/pump then you could have a problem with the amout of water getting to the shower. Make sure all inlet valves are fully open and that there are no blockages in the filters etc.
