This question is regarding Triton AS2000XT Thermostatic Power Shower (White/Chrome)

triton as200xt wont turn off.

I've just moved house and went to test the shower out. It is a Triton as200xt. When I turned it on it worked fine but when i tried to turn it off the motor just kept running and a small amount of water continued to come out. Only way to stop it was to turn it off at the isolator switch. Any idea what the problem is and whether it is likely to be fixable? I assume it is okay to use the shower providing we ensure it is switched off using the isolator switch once we've finished?

If when you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the shower keeps running then you have a faulty solenoid.

When you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the waterstops running, then you have a faulty on/off switch or a faulty PCB or a micro switch that is sticking on.
