Triton Aspirante Electric shower 8.5Kw

The above shower has recently malfunction as follows: 1. When the medium or high button for hot water is pressed, the blue light comes ON, no water comes out, then it immediately switch to the cold water switch on the left, still without water coming out and then click on the power button and cold water start to flow and then clicking on the medium or high button would bring hot accordingly 2. If hot water flows consistently for a while on the high button, that causes the circuit breaker to switch off the shower So my question is; is this problem an electrical problem or a fault on the electric shower The electric shower was bought March 2015 What do you advise pls

This is a little bit difficult to say because you appear to have two problems.

1 I think you may have a faulty power PCB

2 Your circuit breaker is either two small for your shower ( it needs to be 40 Amp) or it is worn out
