Bewitch shower continually cycles hot & cold

Can a faulty TCO cause the shower to continually cycle hot & cold
Asked 13 years ago by David

If the shower is cycling between hot & cold then the TCO on top of the heater can assembly is working ok, however here are a few things to check below.

The problem is either:

Lack of water pressure to the shower (Check Stop tap is fully open supplying the shower)

A leak inside the shower (Check the pressure switch diaphragm on the stabiliser valve at the top for leaks)

Wire terminals inside melting? (Check the TCO on the outlet pipe under the can and any other terminals visible)

The Outlet TCO on the outlet pipe is a usual suspect due to the terminals not having a good connection causing the wires to arch amnd melt, if this is the case then you need to replace the outlet pipe with TCO ( Item no 7) from this link provided to your shower - http://www.showerdoc.com/shower-spares/triton/TRITO-PARENT-62-Triton-Bewitch
