Biarritz 2 not shutting off

water board recently disconected the main water supply to the street for renewing pipe work, once supply was turned back on I re commisioned the shower but was unable to turn the water off. only means of doing this was to turn my water off, remove the shower & fit a stop end to the pipe. whether the work was coincidental or not I don't know. Does it sound like my shower is repairable or should I get a new shower

It sounds like some dirt has come through the pipe-work and got stuck in the solenoid valve which is not allowing it to close.

The solenoids are sealed so probably impossible to do anything with it other than replacing the solenoid valve.
