Water Leak

High pressure water is leaking from the bottom of the heating can. It is coming from a spout at the bottom directly behind the valve. If i replace the can will this fix the problem? Also i am not sure what the KW rating is for the existing can. Am i able to fit both types?

I am not sure but from your description could it be that your Pressure Relief Device has activated?

.I think the pressure relief device has activated.
It’s a safety device on the bottom of the heating tank or outlet pipe.
It is fairly easy to replace however there is usually something that causes it to activate, often a kink in the hose or the showerhead is blocked, so check this before fitting the new PRD.
