Triton Opal 2 Heater Can Assembly

I've recently replaced the stabiliser valve which was supplied by yourselves because water would not turn off. This part was successful. However when the shower was tested it only gave warm water. On testing with multi-meter I think one of the elements has gone but before ordering I'm just wondering if its just a coincidence that this went at the same time as the stabiliser. It was purchased in 2005 and within the first year under guarantee we had to have a new HCAssembly. Your comments would be appreciated?

The Can and Stab valve are not directly connected in any way that one should cause the other to become faulty.

I do have some concern that you are now effectively looking at the third can in 6 years.

Do you have a good flow through the shower when on full cold?

Can you check that the valve coming in to your house and the valve on the line to the shower are fully open?

Do you have a problem with lime scale?

Of course.......You could have just been unlucky
