Heating problem

Hello, my shower when on hot No1 settin turned upto 10 is lukewarm, if i switch it to hot No1 steiing and have it on the lowest setting is scolding, do you think replacing this will fix the problem?

Turn the shower temperature control from fully cold to fully hot. When you do this slowly there should be a gradual change in temperature and flow. At fully hot you should have not much more than a dribble coming from the hose, and on fully cold you should have a good strong flow. If you do not have this difference, or the flow or temperature is erratic, then you may have a faulty flow/stabilizer valve.
