water shut off

hi guys . just moved into a rented house and they have a Caselona3 in the bathroom. heats up fine but the only problem is that to turn it on and off requires using the main isolation switch with a pull cord. ive replace the on/off microswitch but still no good. it cant be the solenoid as water stops when the pull cord is pulled. Any advice would be appreciated thanks

Below is the usual advice.

If when you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the shower keeps running then you have a faulty solenoid valve.

When you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the water stops running, then you have a faulty on/off switch or a faulty PCB or a micro switch that is sticking on.

From your question you would appear to have covered most of these things.

The only way the solenoid can remain open is for it to be receiving power so you will have to trace back to find out where the power is coming from./
