Triton shower water cuts out intermittently, low pressure / no water

Hi.

I have been using the titron caselona for some time now. It starts fine and heats up the water well, after a couple of minutes the shower stops completely. and takes quite long to start flowing again. Should i consider buying a new shower or is repairing it an easy thing to do?

If your shower is running and the water shuts off mid flow but you still have power to the shower unit then it sounds like your solenoid coil on the solenoid valve is faulty and needs replaced.

Usually when the water shuts off it does it intermittently several times and usually can take between 2 - 15 minutes to work again.

The usual symptoms are as follows:

No water but it still has electricity supplying the shower.
The water keeps cutting out intermittently.
Water cuts off but then the shower works again after 2 - 15 minutes

If this is the case then you can replace the coil on the solenoid valve or the complete solenoid valve assembly.

The coil can be found under part number 27600 and the solenoid valve assembly complete can be found by looking for the make and model of shower you have via the spares diagrams through the homepage of our website www.showerdoc.com.
