Replacing on left hand mixer tap

Hi the left hand tap has snapped off on my excellente mixer shower but there is no grub screw to take out the diverter, only one on the right hand tap. Please can you let me know how I can remove it.

If there is no grub screw holding the handle on then the handle should just pull off. The diverter is held on by a metal screw ring.
