Spare parts

Hi, I've recently moved and noticed that the shower temperature leaver is missing.



I've attached a picture of my shower and a spare part I found in the bathroom. I'd like to be able to fix it, could you help me identify the parts I need?



If I buy them and they do not fit, would I be able to return them?
