Lost dismantling instructions!

I have mislaid the instructions on how to dismantle the inner part of this shower head, but decided to go ahead anyway..which was probably not a good idea..as I now have a tiny spring and a very small piece of plastic with an indent one side which the spring would fit into....just can't seem to work out where they belong?? Have screwed it back together minus these bits and seems to be working ok..but have noticed spray setting no longer locks into its various positions so guess it has something to do with that. Any advise would be appreciated. The shower head itself has been great..have had it nearly 2 years and with weekly leaning it has doubtless extended the life of the shower which is now 10 years old and in need of replacement itself. We live in an area of hard water and I imagine the unit itself is pretty scaled up....could you advise me of a suitable replacement Triton model for the Ivory2 model which we currently have. Many thanks
