This question is regarding Triton HP Mixer Valve Cartridge (including seals) - 83304970

Triton Combi Hp - Cartridge 83304970

I need to replace the cartridge as I can't get hot water - only luke warm. I have a recess shower and I'm not sure how old it is, but the control knobs are identical as the one shown. you also say that Triton recommend replacing the brass body, and that would be a major job ! ...is it really necessary. Have you ever had to do it? What do you think.

It is only a suggestion as far as the brass body is concerned. I would just change the cartridge.

I don't know the age of this Triton Combi HP recess shower (hopefully pic. attached) but will the cartridge - number 8330 4970 be the right replacement.
