Triton Ivory 4 cover assembly

A tiny piece of plastic has broken off the inside of the top control knob of my shower. The knob now no longer engages with the inside control switch and it cannot be turned on or off. I understand that the cover is no longer available. The shower was otherwise working perfectly.

Is there anyway around this or am I going to have to replace a perfectly good shower just because of a tiny broken piece of plastic? Feeling a bit cross with Triton at the moment.

Thanks in anticipation.

Sorry , the knobs were only supplied with the cover from the manufacturer. The only way round this is to switch the shower off via the ceiling/ wall switch.
