This question is regarding Triton Jade II - Shower Spares

No power & no water

Shower started to work for approx 5-10sec's then stopped. Upon investigation the on/off switch and the main ceiling 45amp pull switch seemed dead.

Have checked house fuse box, all ok. Have replaced ceiling power switch, still no power. Have pulled cover off Triton and checked with basic mutli-tester and seems to be power coming in and switches working, but light on unit and ceiling switch not illuminating nor will shower work. Would a faulty TCO trip things out and give the symptoms described ?

It may be your solenoid valve, you can check it if you have a multi meter, you should have a reading of at least k3.5 ohms, across the two terminals any less and you need a new valve. (Check the valve in the failed state.) (When it has stopped working!)

 

If there is power getting to the solenoid and it is not operating then there is a good chance that you have a faulty solenoid.
