water temperature control

When turning the temperature control there is only a very small amount of movement between very hot water or cold water instead of a wide range of temperatures

 It sounds like theflow control / stabiliser valve is not working correctly.

However before replacing the valve make sure that the mainvalve coming into the house and the valve on the line to the shower are bothfully open.
