Trion Jade: Intermittantly turns off

Hi,

We have a Triton Jade shower that's causing us problems. Initially the isolator cord pull switch over heated and cracked. That has been replaced and everything secured properly.

Now, however the unit will operat for 2 to 3 minutes then completely switch off for 10 or so seconds then come back on with no indication of low pressure from the unit. Water flow and temperatures are as they've always been.

I've checked the resistances on the water heater and solenoid and all are within the specs given within other answers (15 ohms and 3.6kohms respectively). The two thermal cut outs also show continuity. There are also no obvious signs of damaged or overheating cabling.

Any ideas?

From what you say I would still suspect the ceiling switch or the solenoid to be at fault.
