Water spraying out of the bottom of the shower unit

Please can you help me?

Water is spraying out of the gap at the bottom of the unit between the front and back of the casing. It was not coming out of the little pipe. I have replaced the little device that controls the pressure but the water is still spraying out of the bottom of the unit.

Please can you tell me what it is and which bit needs to be replaced.

Kind regards

When you changed the PRD did you put the "O" ring back in the outlet pipe correctly? If so then,

I think the Pressure Relief Device (PRD) has blown, again.

It’s a safety device on the bottom of the heating tank.

It is fairly easy to replace however there is usually something that causes it to blow, often a kink in the hose or the shower head is blocked, so check this before fitting the new PRD.
