Which microswitch 2?

George, your answer doesn't give me any useful information, I still can't tell whther the black switch I described is what you list as Top or Bottom. Your answer adds to the confusion rather than subtracts, not least becasue you refer to brown switches which I can't see.

I've attached a picture with the two microswitches (black one on top of grey one; it's the black one which has failed) circled in red. Hoping this helps you to tell me exactly which switch I need to buy.

I was referring to the brown switches on the drawing here, which is where the link came from

So the switches you circled the ones on the right (Which look burnt out!) which are brown on triton’s drawing.


From your photo I can’t see if it is a pair of black and a pair grey or if it happens to be a black and a grey then it is likely someone has changed one of the switches.

So it is likely that part 4 http://www.showerdoc.com/triton-bottom-microswitch-and-wire-assembly-82301020 the right hand switches you have circled has now been changed into a sub assembly and the wires are now welded to the switches to prevent the overheating that clearly has taken place with your switches.

You may be able to tighten up the connectors and fit a universal micro switch which is much cheaper http://www.showerdoc.com/micro-switch-21-amp-2-pin-universal  however if asked we would really have to advise on OME
