Has my pressure valve blown?

I was just taking a shower when the water started to flow just below where the shower head is connected. I;ve had trouble with my central heating recently but the pressure kept rising on my combi boiler until, I finally sussed it, could that be the cause of it and is it just the pressure relief valve that I need to replace? PLus with all the pressure thats built up where does it all go and will I have a long term problem?

The shower should notbe connected to the heating system so the fault with the shower is really onlya shower problem.

Switch of the power and remove the cover if you see that theleak is coming from part 8 the pressure relief device then this will needreplaced.
