Martinique 10.5kw

When I switch on the electric supply via the pull cord to my shower I sometimes get a very loud vibrating sound which appears to come from the shower unit. Switching off the electric supply stops the noise but not always straight away. Switching the electric back on usually results in the shower operating normally. Nothing trips out at the consumer unit when this fault occurs. I recently had some plumbing work carried out in my kitchen which required the pipe work being drained and when I first used the shower afterwards there was obviously air in the system but I did not run the shower on cold as I have since seen in my shower instructions I should have done to avoid possible damage. Could this have caused the problem? If not any idea what this fault could be? Thank you

There should be no air in the system as it is off of the mains supply.

You need to identify where the noise is coming from, as it maybe the solenoid or the pcb. There is a filter in the solenoid assembly which maybe blocked.
