Opal 3 won't commission
Tested it, with a multi-meter I'd never used before - it showed fluctuating voltage between 66 and 193 max. My Part P has lapsed so advised customer to get an electrician out. They did and he has verified the voltage as 240. Have yet to check that he tested in the shower body, but the customer saw where I'd tested it.
One other thing, the rear of the unit had a sticker on it which said "Failed" in red. Other details too, not noted. Triton assured me that had it failed the QC process it wouldn't have been wrapped and packaged and boxed - so my, and the customers, assumption that they wouldn't sell a failed item - has been confirmed by Triton. (But, who knows?)
Is there anything else to try before calling Triton out for a faulty unit? (Have yet to speak to Triton a second time, but they said they would do this if necessary).
Thanks in advance.
