This question is regarding Triton Opal - Shower Spares

Inlet gauze blocked

The inlet filter gauze on my opal 10.5kW shower is blocked with what looks like blue salt. on trying to clean this the gauze broke. It has taken 8 years to clog up.

Can I get a new gauze or will the shower be OK without the Gauze. Our Glasgow water is soft and a new filter station makes it very pure.

These filters are part of the solenoid valve and are not available separately. After time with out a filter the valve may stop working, but it could be a very long time.
