stop switch on my 10.5kwh opal

Hi, my shower will not switch on when I press the stop switch. No problem with water flow and no electrical cut out at all. The stop switch when depressed lets the water flow for about a second then stops. I can then repeat this over and over with the same result. My wife found if she pressed the stop switch at a certain angle it could work and the flow of water continues. Is it likely to be a faulty pcb or a physical problem with the stop switch being worn please?

It maybe the pressure pad on the PCB is faulty, and a new PCB may solve this problem.
