I am not sure exactly what you mean when you say it is dripping from the outlet pipe.

Is it dripping from the joint between the hose and the outlet pipe?  If it is it may mean that the hose just needs a little tightening or it may need a new washer.

Could it be leaking from inside the shower and running sown the outlet pipe? If it is then you will need to switch of the power remove the cover and have a closer inspection to see exactly where the leak is coming from.

Could it be that the pressure relief device has activates and it is actually water coming from that and it is running down the back of the outlet pipe
