Water only warm following fitting of service kit

Since fitting the new service kit as result of my dripping shower (your order ref 1218421) the water is only warm when the knob screw is set to maximum. Have reinstalled the fittings three times following the circuit drawing supplied by installers when they fitted the shower to my new bungalow 15 years ago the water is only just warm, whereas previously we had to set the knob screw back almost 45 degrees to be comfortable. Have you any ideas

First I have to assume that the kit is fitted correctly.

The next thing to check is that there is hot water arriving at the shower, so see if you can get a hold of the hot pipe aas it arrives at the shower or as it leaves the boiler and remember that the shower can't get any hotter than the water that is arriving at it.

Finally it could be that the knob is out of adjustment, turn the shower to it's hottest remove the knob and turn it a few degrees cooler and refit it this should allow it to travel further degrees toward hot.
