How to fit 82800450

I purchased this item as it is said to be the correct replacement prd for a triton kito electric shower. However it looks different in appearance to the original. This has no rubber ball bearing in the prd. Can you confirm that this is simply a newer version? And if is the plastic ‘cap’ simply placed over the opening and screwed into place (I assume high pressure makes a hole in the cap)?

Yes this is the correct part and is the new version of the older prd.
