New Aquatronic 2 leaking from behind unit

We used to have a Mira Play shower and just recently, water started leaking from behind it. As the on/off button was also sticky (took several pushes to keep it on), we decided to replace the whole shower unit. Bought an Aquatronic 2 from Wickes and was careful to commission it properly as per the instructions. However, just two weeks later, although we still have hot water coming from the showerhead, we are also experiencing the same trickle of water from the bottom of the unit as with our old shower. Could it be the PRD device blown? Would water still come out of the showerhead if this was the case or is it more than likely another problem? Would appreciate suggestions as to what to do next.

The water may still come out the shower head even with the prd blown. The only way to check this with this shower is to open it up and have a look.
