replacing prd

before i start to replace prd do i need to turn water supply off at mains

You don't usually need to turn of the water.

This PRD fits into the base ofthe heating tank.

You have to remove the outlet pipe toget the old one out and it should be just a case of pulling the old one out andpushing the new one in.

The water that is in the heating tankwill probably run out, when you remove the old PRD, don’t worry about this,alsomake sure that the old ‘O’ ring comes out with the old PRD, they have a tendencyto stick in the bottom of the heating tank.
