Unit leaking - NOT from the PRD

When the unit is switched on (via the switch on the front cover), water appears to be coming from around the switching module assembly !! Is this probable ? Would fitting a new assembly resolve the problem ?

The center of these valves sometimes leaks. Replacing the above should solve the problem.
