Temperature Control

Hi my tenant is complaining that the shower will only run at boiling hot or freezing cold and nothing in between. What do you think is the cause. It doesn't change temperature by it self, I've checked that. Regards Simon

Turn the shower temperature control from fully cold to fully hot. When you do this slowly there should be a gradual change in temperature and flow. At fully hot you should have not much more than a dribble coming from the hose, and on fully cold you should have a good strong flow. If you do not have this difference, or the flow or temperature is erratic,  then you may have a faulty flow/stabilizer valve.
It may also be the PCB at fault in this type of shower. Replacing it is the only way to check this.
