Triton Rapide R2 - Another Temp problem

Whilst using the shower (on highest power setting) there was suddenly a drop in water temperature.

Water still gets warm but now needs to be on temp setting No 7 or 8 when 5 or 6 was good enough. I have tried the switch between power settings and there is a difference (lower is cooler than high setting)

What could have gone wrong?

Turn the shower temperature control from fully cold to fully hot. When you do this slowly there should be a gradual change in temperature and flow. At fully hot you should have not much more than a dribble coming from the hose, and on fully cold you should have a good strong flow. If you do not have this difference, or the flow or temperature is erratic,  then you may have a faulty flow/stabilizer valve.
