Shower won't switch off

We are unable to switch the shower off and have had to switch the mains water supply off to stop the water. Do you have any suggestions how to stop the water so we can reconnect the main supply Thank you.

If you have the power off at the main isolater and the water keeps running then you have a faulty solenoid valve, which will need replaced.
