Triton not switching off

The on/off button on our Triton Bermuda does not always shut down the shower.. The resistance of the solenoid coil is 2.9, what if anything needs to be done please? Could the shower turn itself on when nobody is there thus wasting power and water?

The resistance is low on the solenoid valve.

However I have the feeling that this is more likely that you have a fault with the on/off switch not engaging/disengaging.

Can you press the button on and off repeatedly and see if it feels different on the occasions that the shower doesn’t switch off.
