Solenoid Coil

Please enter your Question.........I have a Triton Opal Shower. I wrote to you recently stating that my shower did not work. Water continues to flow when the shower is turned off and water continues to flow even when the main isolating power switch is turned off. You posted my question and you stated 'If when you switch off the shower at the main isolator and the shower keeps running then you have a faulty solenoid'. I purchased from yourselves and fitted the solenoid coil but it has not solved my problem. Water continues to flow even when power is turned off. Please advise. Paul Rogerson

The solenoid coil only opens the valve when energised, it does not actively close it. With your fault the whole valve needs to be replaced, it can be ordered online by clicking on the link below.
