Triton Shower water tap very loose

The water tap on my Triton shower is very loose and looks like it is going to drop off. The tap just keeps turning like a screw as come out. I managed to turn off the water but now it just turns and turns with no water, any suggestions as to the problem please. Thanks

If youcan send a couple of photos of the complete valve with the knobs on, a couplewith the knobs and covers off, so we can identify the top part of the cartridgeand if it is possible a couple of the cartridge itself if you canremove it.
